We recommend kids ages 6-14.

Groupings will include kids of all skill levels. We primarily group based on specific requests, followed by age. When registering, please be sure to note any preferences or requests at that time so we can accommodate them as best as possible.

This is a big reason why Edge stands out from other camps. We take ALL levels of hockey players. Our staff are trained to teach to every level of player. Once we get on the ice, we assess the players and try our best to break them into small groups based on their skill level.

We will send out schedules about a month prior to each camp with specific times. You can expect the younger groups to start around 730am and end around 5pm. For our oldest group (usually 12-14), you can expect around 9am -6pm. **These are just approximate times.** We have to wait to do our groupings before we can confirm set times but we try to let you know as soon as possible so you can make appropriate arrangements!

We do not offer half days. We work on a progressive system throughtout the week so in order to get the true Edge Hockey School experience, we require all participants to attend the full day. We have had children as young as 5 that attend our camp and you would be amazed how a well ran camp that keeps kids engaged the full day can help the young ones to make it through the day. That is not saying they won't be exhausted on the way home though!

We do offer goalie specific training in our Didsbury hockey school. At our other camps, we do not have dedicated time and instruction for goalies. However, goalies will get basic training and a lot of shots. We offer a discounted rate at all camps for goalies because of this. (Other than Didsbury)

Yes we do. At time of check out, you will have the option to choose payment plan. You will receive reminder emails when a payment is due.

Unfortunately, no. This is a full day, week long camp. We work on a progression scale for all of our actiivities so every child is required to attend the full day.

We take great pride in hand picking our staff every year. We choose great hockey players, combined with great people. Most of our staff have played Junior A, AAA, College, University, NCAA, WHL, OHL or NHL level. We also like to hire teachers and people who are great with children. We know the combination of a great athlete and someone who is great with kids is what makes our staff stand out from other hockey schools!

We work with all parents to make this week work for you. Once you receive your schedule, if there are issues, please contact Edge asap and we will do our best to accomodate your schedule.

Yes we do. A family discount of $20 off for siblings.

You can log back into your account and add jersey cresting and/or the lunch program at any time!

At this time, we do not offer other programs. We are focusing on making every week of hockey school as memorable and impactful as possible. However, there is a possibility that we will be looking at adding "off season" options. Stay tuned!

We love to bring NHL players out to as many camps as we can. We think it adds to the entire experience for the kids. It depends on the location and if we are able to get players to come and skate with the kids. Every year changes! Watch for NHL player announcements on our social media!

Yes, we have staff that are trained to help kids get on and off the ice. If you are at the rink, we always welcome extra hands in the dressing room. However, if you are unable to be there, your child will be helped getting dressed.

YES! Every child will receive a jersey on the Sunday during check in. (No matter what package you choose!) If you add cresting to your registration, your child's name and number will be put on the back of the jersey.

We are not. Edge Hockey Schools began in 1993 and has been around for 28 years. We work independantly from the school in Calgary that runs year round.
